Christmas Gift Ideas

This year I am surprisingly on schedule for christmas gifts. But there is always another little project for someone special that I could be doing…and with all the cute last-minute gift ideas floating around, it is hard not to find something suitable, don’t you think?

Here are some of the things that I have found recently. I guess they can be divided into presents for next winter and knitted or crochet projects for all seasons. Since I like to knit all year round, I don’t have a problem with giving a shawl or beanie for christmas. There is always another winter….

Bandana Cowl by The Purl Bee is another lovely gift. Quick to make and luxurious to wear when knitted up with something soft like the Malabrigo Chunky.

I am now making endless lists of Christmas goodness recipients, gifts made and bought and ideas. Luckily, we don’t have a huge family and I want to keep this season as simple and meaningful as possible. We do have so much already….

What are your plans for Christmas?

Enjoy these beautiful days in calm anticipation…

PS: If you are local, you can now visit me on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-2pm in Campbell’s Creek for your fix of lovely yarns, knitting supplies and some funky fabrics. I will be hosting a  monthly social knitting and some classes are in the pipeline.

  1. You do very nice work. Looks like the folks on your Christmas list will be extra fortunate to get handmade gifts that look beautiful, as well. Some of us don’t have your talent, but we can still put thought and love into presents we give. Thanks for that reminder.
